4th Grade. O'Keefe Flower Garden. Watercolor & Sharpie.
Created back in September, we studied Georgia O'Keefe's work, primarily her flowers, and discussed how to create emphasis by using size, color, or placement. This was also the kids first time really using watercolor and we worked on blending wet into wet verses wet on dry. I tried to create a "matt" border around each work by using masking tape and then removing it when the work was completed and the paint was dry. However, in the future, painters tape MUST be used!!!

  1. These are GORGEOUS! They must've had real flowers to look at they are so detailed.
